 This set contains one smart battery (12V x 6A = 72W), an adapter cable and a charger.
 The battery has a large Easy Connect Plug and can be used to power our heated jackets and/or trousers.

 The charger has a small plug, so an adapter cable is included to charge the battery. Depending on the garment and the heat setting, the battery lasts up to 3.5 hours.

 It efficiently powers the garment and prevents overheating by monitoring the voltage. Thanks to its internal processor, you don't need to turn it on—simply connect the battery and turn on your jacket or pants.

 When looking for batteries, be careful not to compare apples (7.4V) with oranges (12V), as a higher voltage heats up faster and reaches higher temperatures. In motorcycle terms, volts can be compared to the engine displacement (cc) of your motorcycle. To give you an idea: 12V at the lowest level (40% power) is comparable to 7.4V at the second-highest level (80% power).

 Amperes indicate the amount of current flowing through the wires at any given moment. Essentially, amperage determines how long the battery will last before needing to be recharged. In a sense, amperage is equivalent to the size of your gas tank.

 By multiplying volts and amperes, we find the battery's wattage, or simply put, its power. We're talking about power instead of temperatures because power can be calculated (V x A = W) and temperatures are subject to factors beyond our control. In motor terms: horsepower.
